The resort is situated in the center of the country, in Cindrel Mountains (Meridionali Carphatians). Founded in 1894, it is the first Romanian ski resort, located at the highest elevation, 1450 m. The scenery is an eye-grasping one, with smooth mountain plateaus, rounded subalpine hills diving into gorgeous valleys.
Moderate subalpine climate, with winter average temperature of -6°C and a snow depth average of 50 cm. Early december snow usually lasts until April.
Directions: The resort can be reached driving along DJ 106 road from Sibiu, 32 km away.

Am spus ca starea partiei este deplorabila, asta pentru faptul ca nu stiu sau nu pot sa o ingrijeasca. Zapada este iar duminica a nins consistent.

Ieri 15 februarie. Starea partiei: deplorabila. Cozi de 30-40 minute. mi s-a spus ca ratracul nu intra pe partie decat daca ninge peste 10 cm. Acum...
