Sinaia

Known as the "The Pearl of the Carphatians", the resort is located on Prahova Valley, in Bucegi Mountains (Meridionali Carphatians). Having the Peles Castle near by adds up to the natural beauty of the area.
Subalpine climate with a January average temperature of +4°C and a snow depth average of 50 cm. Early December snow usually lasts until April.
Directions: It can reached by train on the Bucharest - Oradea route, or driving along DN 1 road, 50 km SE from Brasov, or 123 km NW from Bucharest.
