World Snow Day

Sunday, January 22nd 2012 the World Snow Day would be celebrated around the world. The event is a part of the "Bring the Children to the Snow" program, it is organized by the International Ski Federation and it would be held in 39 countries in the same time. In Romania there would be 2 locations where the event would be organized: Vatra Dornei (by Euroski Ski School) and Busteni (by Progressive Sports Ski School).

Vatra Dornei Schedule:

- Free snow tubbing: Parc slope, at 11am and 3pm (1 hour sessions)
- Free ski equipment rental: Banu Rental Center, at 11am and 3pm (1 hour sessions)
- Free ski lessons: Euroski Ski School, at 10am, 12pm and 3pm (1 hour sessions)
- Free snowboard lessons: Euroski Ski School, at 11am and 4pm (1 hour sessions)
- Free skilift access for kids: Veverita slope, between 11am and 12:30pm
- Night skiing and demo: free skilift access between 6pm and 6:45pm, Veverita slope

Busteni Schedule:

- Free ski lessons: FunPark slope, between 11:30am and 1:30pm
- Free snowboard lessons: FunPark slope, between 11:30am and 1:30pm
- Free carousel: between 11:30am and 4pm
- Free tubbing: between 11:30am and 4pm
- Free ski equipment rental: Zengal & Monsters Rental Center, between 11am and 4pm 
- Free skilift access for kids: FunPark slope (Magic Carpet), between 11:30am and 4pm
